Eagle Press Is Now Eagle & Wheeler

To meet with the demands of an ever-changing press and printing business, Eagle Press has recently merged with Wheeler Press to offer a suite of services to their customers including printing, advertising, design, mailing and other communication services. The new company, Eagle & Wheeler, is now the largest print shop in Denton, Texas.

Eagle Press has long been a strong presence in Denton; earlier this year it acquired North Texas Mailing Services to help expand its market reach into new areas. Wheeler Press, a Denton-area business for over a hundred years, is well known to locals for its quality services, which will be incorporated into the new Eagle & Wheeler model. The two companies feel the merger will allow them to diversify their services and offer the best work possible for their loyal customer base.

Kraig Springer, son-in-law to former owners of Wheeler Press Jim and Joann Wheeler, will become Eagle & Wheeler’s chief operating officer. Eagle Press owner James Eliot will continue to oversee the business, but will entrust its day-to-day operations to Springer.

Loyal customers of both Eagle Press and Wheeler Press can expect a continuation of that great service with new options and capabilities made available to them. The new Eagle & Wheeler will operate from Eagle Press’s existing 10,000-square foot facility, and the company expects the merger to be complete by the end of July.
